Description

Bauer MiniS was a strikingly unique looking movie camera which was produced in 1966 by the Bosch/Bauer Company in Germany. The company was established by Eugen Bauer in 1905, it was taken over by Bosch in 1932 to become Bosch/Bauer. They produced home movie cameras after Second World War, but the company met its downfall in 1970s and was bought by Daimler-Benz in 1985.

The Bauer MiniS is the successor of Bauer Mini with a different lens. It was an electrically driven super 8 cine camera with a body made of plastic and metal and leatherette covering. It was a 15 mm fixed focus camera with f/1.8 lens, 19 frames per second and automatic exposure. The current camera is present in an exceptional condition with no damage to the body or lens. It comes with black leather pouch.

It is a very distinct camera of its time and a must-have for a camera enthusiast.
