Description

“Eastern Africa and Rhodesia: Historical and Descriptive, Commercial and Industrial Facts, Figures & Resources” was compiled and edited by Allister Macmillan.

This large book is a first edition from 1930, as published by W. H. & L. Collingridge, Ltd. It contains 503 pages of detailed information regarding various African countries, and many hundreds of photographs of peoples, buildings, wildlife, and other subjects of interest.

The book is in reasonable condition. Binding is solid, but hinges weak. There are tears and frays to the board corners and spine ends. Wormholing permeates the book, but rarely interferes with legibility. All edges gilt, but some fading and scuffing to edges. Mild foxing and stains to internal pages, but generally clean throughout.
