Description
Nunotani Keiki Seisakusho Co Ltd was founded by Itaro Nunotani in 1909, and since then it has won numerous awards and accolades in Japan and internationally, for its contributions to the industry, particularly during wartime. With incredible resilience, Nunotani Keiki Seisakusho Co Ltd survived the Second World War despite its founder and all his brothers being at the battlefield, and continued to produce wartime equipment, meaning that this tenacious little company helped shape history itself. In 1941, the company was honoured by the Japanese government for its contributions to the country in wartime shipmaking. This engine order telegraph, used by the pilot to electronically send commands from the bridge to the engine room, is a gorgeous pastel sea green colour, perfect for a nautical themed room or to add a touch of history to your study. It has been rehabilitated with a fresh coat of paint and is in gleamingly good condition. One can easily picture it on the bridge of a brand new ship with a captain standing behind it!
