Description

Amongst the items in our collection of books by Will Durant comes this volume: ‘Interpretations of Life- A Survey of Contemporary Literature’, in which the husband-and-wife team of Will and Ariel Durant examine the lives and opinions of writers ranging from Ludwig Wittgenstein to Ernest Hemingway.
This hardback is a second printing dating from 1970, as published by Simon and Schuster, and contains 384 pages. The book is approximately 6.8 inches wide, 9.2 inches tall, and 1.2 inches thick.
The book is in good condition. The dustjacket is chipped and torn and evinces tape repair from the inside, but the book itself is in excellent shape. The boards are slightly bent at a couple of corners and feature minor rubbing along the edges. The binding is solid. Page edges have a few scuff marks. Internally the book is in near-perfect condition, with no tears, foxing, markings, or creases, and only the tiniest of corner bends to a few pages being the book’s flaw.
