‘About all you have to do, is listen,’ was the catchphrase publicized by Centrex by Pioneer model KH-8855. Pioneer Electronic Corporation was founded in 1938 as a radio and speaker repair shop which flourished to be one of the most established specialized digital entertainment products company. In 1960s, the company introduced the world’s first separate music system, which was followed by the production of various series of music systems.
KH-8855 was considered to be extremely convenient and uncluttered music system in its time. It was a very easy to use and stylish music system with push buttons, knobs and semi-automatic 2 speed turntable. Its features included not only cassette-tape recorder, AM/FM system and one touch recording, but also exclusive convenience features such as PMS (Pioneer music selector) which helped one skip a song and play the next one automatically.
A popular music system in its time, the Pioneer Centrex KH-8855 was the cynosure of parties and social gatherings. It is an item that grabs a collector’s attention and adds a chic classic look to your niche.
