Another addition to our classic gramophone collection is the His Master’s Voice 102. Taking you back in time is HMV 102 which can be dubbed as His Master’s Voice’s longest lived and most successful portable gramophone which was introduced in 1931. Marketed by HMV as the ‘World’s finest portable’ was manufactured and sold till 1960.

HMV ensured unprecedented quality and after the replacement by internal horns in 1920s it proved to be one of the finest gramophones in this line. It has a longer internal horn with a wider swan neck tone arm and sound box with an aluminum diaphragm. It has a 10 inch turn table with a spring clips for ‘Tungstyle’ needle tins.

This HMV 102 is present in an overall good condition, considering the age of the machine, the interior is well kept, however, the outer body has some marks and scratches.
