On offer here is the product of a time-honored name in the projector industry, Revere Camera Company. The company was established in 1920 by Samuel Briskin in Illinois for manufacturing car engines, but later on resorted to producing household products after a decade. The production of 8 mm movie projectors was initiated in 1939 and by 1950s the company became the second largest producer of small movie cameras in the States. The Revere name became synonymous with budget cameras and began producing radios, as well, and the finally discontinued in 1960.
The Revere P-90 was an 8 mm movie projector which was introduced in 1940s. It has an adjustable lens combined with fine tuning adjustment. It has a beige metallic body made of die-cast zinc, Bakelite base and electronic parts. It comes with a rust-brown protective hard casing. The condition is near-mint with the inscriptions on the parts clearly visible.
It is a great projector for vintage collectors, can add depth and taste to an ordinary interior to impart a cinematic touch to it. A classic touch, just two reels away!
