Sinclair 128K ZX Spectrum +2
Made in China
Produced by: Sinclair Research Limited
Item Code: MSC 024
Condition (in our opinion): 8/10
ZX-Spectrum was a series of 8-bit home computer systems launched by Sinclair Research Limited. This classic addition to our collection is a vintage Sinclair 128K ZX Spectrum +2, which was introduced in 1986 by the Sinclair shortly after the purchase of the brand by rival ‘Amstrad.’ As such, it was considered to be an amalgam of the Spectrum 128 and Amstrad CPC-464 in functionality and shape.
It became a huge success in the home computer market and was the first of its kind to be sold commercially. It featured a built-in cassette recorder called ‘datacorder,’ dual joystick ports, and a full stroke keyboard with 128K RAM.
It was marketed as a game machine and sold in action game packages such as James Bond 007 action games with joystick and light guns; this marketing approach made Spectrum +2 a huge success.
This item is available in a very good condition; without any visible cracks or markings. Its functionality has not been determined.
