Description

The Bessamatic is an incredibly robust 35 mm SLR made by the Voigtlander division of the Zeiss-Ikon conglomerate by the end of the 1950s. It had two most notable features, namely: the built-in, uncoupled selenium light meter and interchangeable lenses. Both of these features were still state-of-the-art back in the 1950s.
Another fun fact about the Bessamatic: it introduced to the world the first ever Zoom lens on a camera. Thus it makes for quite the collector’s item.
Comes with original leather cover.
