This is a beautiful 100% all original example of an english signed heavy art deco westminster chime mantle clock in superior condition. it was made in england by smiths clock company, london. it was made in the 1930s when art deco was so popular. this particular model is in superior looking and superior running condition. the movement is clean and runs very well keeping good time while chiming the hours for you. Has a very pleasant quiet ticking sound as it runs. The case is all original with the original finish! The case is made in a deco style in nearly like new condition with a great design with the original feet. The veneer is in great condition. The  dial is original and in very good condition. The numbers and lettering are very crisp! The metal around the dial is original. The front door is superior with a catch, which works great, and is easy to open for winding. The well-made adjustable pendulum is original and has a place to set the clock for slow and fast. has an adjustment for chime and silent on the dial
