The company that is known as Utsuki Keiki Co. Ltd had its humble origins in Tokyo in 1905 when Sumizo Utsuki opened a repair shops for marine chronometers, which were considered essential navigational tools for ships. The company began expanding in the 1960s, eventually moving into manufacturing marine equipment, serving the dock industry, sea-transportation industry, and offshore engineering. Today, under the management of the fourth generation of Utsukis, the company still maintains its original product lines.

This is vintage aneroid barometer in very good condition, and still provides accurate readings. The metal case is intact, the paint chipped in some places.
