The Fakir company founded in 1933 by Wilhlem Kicherer originally manufactured floor-cleaning machines. Fakir, however, soon became famous for high-quality and innovative technology for domestic appliances. In the 1950s, electric fan heaters like this very powerful model were added to the product line. Because not all rooms in the home were always heated, these adaptable appliances were very popular.
