The TC-530 was produced in 1968/69, and came with a microphone for recording. An initially empty take up reel and feed reel were mounted on each spindle, and using audio amplification to record audio. This device is a reel to reel player and recorder, a cassette player and recorder, plus it also has built in detachable speakers. It also has phono and aux inputs, which means you can plug in a record player or the newer devices including cd players, IPod, cell-phones et cetera.
